San Juan, Puerto Rico 2021 by Niaomi Blue

San Juan, Puerto Rico is a home of great history and culture. It is known as one of the oldest cities in the United States of America, starting from the early 1500’s. It is also known as the capital of Puerto Rico, the Old San Juan Historic District is the core and heart of the city’s history. The historic architecture of San Juan displays four centuries of development.

Gina Joseph, a native from Brooklyn, New York, who is a social media strategist and travel yogi. Who is now a resident of Puerto Rico says, ” I came here to escape the overwhelming energy of New York, the real estate is reasonable and being able to take in the sun and relax while mediating is goals.” Gina explained, she chuckled.

The city is known for many museums, it’s reconstructed colonial-era buildings, churches, convents, and more. The city is so enriched with culture, despite the city needing continuous renovations it’s still the go-to place for anyone wanting a Caribbean getaway.
